On the way Irving will introduce the young and impressionable Billy to the people, places, and situations giving new intending to the term “childrearing”. The duo will encounter male strippers, disgruntled child beauty pageant contestants (along with their equally disgruntled mothers), funeral home mourners, biker bar patrons, far more of unsuspecting citizens. Real people in unreal situations, making for one really all smudged comedy. 86-year-old Irving Zisman takes a trip from Nebraska to North Carolina to adopt his 8 year-old grandson, Billy, time for his real father.
